Transferring Tapes and Records to Computer or CD

Transferring your tapes and LP's to your computer or CD's is fairly easy and inexpensive.

First, check your computer to ensure it does have a MIC IN jack. If you do have a MIC IN jack proceed.

Next, check the headphone jack on the stereo equipment you will be using to the play the tapes or LP's to see if the jack is 6.3mm or 3.5mm. If you do have a 6.5mm jack you will need a 3.5mm Female to 6.35mm Male stereo adapter in addition to the 3.5mm Male-to-Male Stereo / Headphone Cable everyone using this method needs.
